Marketing is critical to a company’s sustainability and growth.
Ralph was working hard in life. He loved to learn; he learned about the world, history, religion, science, math, art, stories, anything he could. After graduating from university, he got a temp job at a manufacturer, not just any manufacturer, a manufacturer of restaurant equipment. After all of his studying throughout his life, he loved two things above all his other hobbies, art and cooking.
What fun. Ralph could work and see all the beautiful restaurant equipment. He could dream of being on the line cooking away. He could see himself talking with the customers about how their day was. It was all wonderful. Of course, Ralph did not have the means to open a restaurant; but what he did do was observe the business and listen for the issues.
When the project was completed, Ralph got another job at a logistics company. This job was far from his love, there was nothing beautiful or delicious about this job. It was truly, just a job that you go and run home. Ralph remained true to his beliefs and worked hard and observed. This company was not free of issues. He watched, learn and tried to find solutions.
Ralph got a great opportunity to work for a successful company as their soul bookkeeper/accountant. The company was run well. He got to really see how policies and procedures, that he learned in university, were applied in real life. The company ran like a dream. Of course, it had issues, like most businesses, but it was a pleasant experience.
Alas, that job was not meant to be for poor Ralph. However, Ralph found a company that really needed him. He did not know it at the time, but Ralph would get the work experience of his lifetime. You see, Ralph excelled at problem solving and problem solving is what he did. The whole company would rely on Ralph from everything to managing people, installing policies and procedures, training, solving IT issues, building websites, doing graphic design, improving the efficiency of many departments, implementing custom build software, designing office and warehouse layout and much much more. Ralph did this while doing the job he was hired as, the Accounting Manager.
Ralph thought to himself, this is crazy, I am the accounting manager of a multi-million-dollar company and I have to do all these jobs. He further thought to himself, if this company needs this amount of help from one person, other companies must need this type of help as well.
Did you see what we just did? No? We just told you a story about Ralph. Ralph is us.
If you read up until this point, we have succeeded in our goal. Ralph is really Alharith. This is what happened to him after university. We used a story to give you the history of Alharith Consulting. Granted we are not going to win the Pulitzer for our writing, but we made this boring page have life.
This is why marketing is so important to businesses. It is your foot into the door. It is how people get to know who and what you are. There are so many companies out there with poor marketing. There are companies who have the most ridiculous website, social media content, that is if they have social media, and company image. Business owners think they can do anything, but they cannot. Having the wrong copy writing on their website, social media and print collateral will give off a terrible image of one’s company.
We have a journalism, creative writing and artistic background, with business training. Meaning Alharith studied, in university, journalism, drawing, photography, creative writing, desktop publishing (now known as graphic design), 3D modeling, web design and graduated in Business Administration with an Option in Accounting. We have pooled all of our education and experience and offer it to any company that asks for our help. We want to help you.
